ISACA CRISC Exam Overview
What to Expect
The ISACA CRISC (Risk and Information Systems Control) exam has 150 questions and a 230-minute time limit. That works out to about 1 minute and 32 seconds per question. You need to score 45% or higher to pass. ISACA exams use a scaled score from 200 to 800, with 450 as the passing score. The scoring accounts for question difficulty, and you receive a score report with domain-level breakdown to identify areas for improvement.
Testing and Delivery
ISACA exams are delivered through PSI testing centers and online proctoring. The CISA and CISM exams use Computerized Adaptive Testing. Schedule through the ISACA certification portal, which also tracks your CPE credits and application status.
Certification Renewal
ISACA certifications require 120 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours over a three-year period, with a minimum of 20 hours annually. Annual maintenance fees are $45 for ISACA members and $85 for non-members.
